This Privacy Notice and its Addendum(s) (“Privacy Notice”) describe how ANM Lumo Holding, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, associated companies and jointly controlled entities (collectively “myexpense”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, process and disclose your Personal Data through the use of myexpense’s mobile applications and websites (respectively “Apps” and “Websites”), as well as products, features and other services globally, operated by myexpense(collectively, “Services”).
This Privacy Notice applies to our consumers and partner (collectively “you”, “your” or “yours”).
“Personal Data” is any information which can be used to identify you or from which you are identifiable. This includes but is not limited to your name and email.
We typically collect, use, disclose or otherwise process your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice with your consent, or in compliance with applicable laws, such as where:
it is required for us to comply with legal requirements;
it is required for us to use the application by using the email to send a code which is used to apply 2FA verification.
I. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
You provide your Personal Data to us
We collect your Personal Data when you provide it to us. For example, when you:
Registration or create account, we required your email address in creating new account. Temporary it stored on your local mobile phone only.
II. USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Providing services and features
Your Personal Data will be used to provide, personalise, maintain and improve our Apps, Websites and Services. This includes using your Personal Data to:
Email for 2FA verification upon creating account and upon changing the email itself.
Google Sheets and Google Drive Integration
We access and use your Google user data solely to provide backup, restore, export, and sync functionality. Specifically:
What Google user data we access:
Google Sheets spreadsheet content (your expense and income records that you choose to export or sync)
Google Drive file metadata (spreadsheet IDs, file names, and folder locations of spreadsheets created or accessed by the app)
How we use this data:
Export: Create a new spreadsheet in your Google Drive containing your expense data
Backup: Write your expense data to a specific spreadsheet you designate in your Google Drive
Restore: Read expense data from your backup spreadsheet to restore it to the app
Sync: Perform two-way synchronization between the app's local database and your designated Google Sheets spreadsheet (reading existing data, merging changes, and writing updated records)
The app stores spreadsheet IDs locally on your device to enable continuous sync functionality across app sessions. All Google Sheets operations are performed directly between your device and your Google account
- no data is transmitted to our servers.
We do NOT use your Google user data for:
Advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes
Developing, improving, or training generalized AI or machine learning models
User analytics, profiling, or behavioral tracking
Selling, renting, sharing, or disclosing to any third parties
Any purpose other than providing the expense tracking and Google Sheets integration features described above
Marketing and promotions
We may use your email address (not your Google user data) to send you marketing communications relating to customised products or services (that may be of interest or relevance based on your profile). For
example, we may:
send you special offers that may be of interest or relevance to you across all of myexpense service offerings;
inform you of the newest updates of the mobile application.
III. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We will take reasonable legal, organisational and technical measures to ensure that your Personal Data is protected. This includes measures to prevent Personal Data from getting lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your Personal Data to our employees on a need to know basis. Those processing your Personal Data will only do so in an authorised manner and are required to treat your information with confidentiality.
Nevertheless, please understand that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data transmitted through any online means, therefore, any transmission remains at your own risk.
IV. GOOGLE USER DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
MyExpense accesses your Google Drive and Google Sheets data solely to provide backup, restore, export, and sync functionality for your expense and income records.
What we access:
Google Sheets spreadsheet content (expense/income records in spreadsheets you create or designate through the app)
Google Drive file metadata (spreadsheet IDs, names, and folder locations)
How we use it:
All data is used exclusively to provide the Google Sheets integration features (export, backup, restore, sync)
Spreadsheet IDs are stored locally on your device to maintain sync functionality
No Google user data is transmitted to our servers
Sharing and disclosure:
We do not share, transfer, sell, rent, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties
This includes advertisers, analytics providers, external organizations, or any other entities
Your Google Drive files accessed or created by this app are used exclusively to serve you
All operations occur directly between your device and your Google account
Third-party access:
We do not allow any third-party services or partners to access your Google user data
We do not use your Google user data for any purpose other than providing the functionality you requested
V. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Google Drive and Google Sheets data:
Backup spreadsheets created by MyExpense in your Google Drive remain stored in your Drive until you manually delete them
The app does not automatically delete your Google Drive files
You have full control over all spreadsheets created by the app through your Google Drive interface
The app stores spreadsheet IDs locally on your device to enable sync functionality - these IDs are deleted when you clear app data or delete your account
Local app data:
Your expense and income records are stored locally on your mobile device in an encrypted database
You may delete all local data at any time by:
- Using the "Delete Account" feature within the app settings
- Clearing the app data through your device settings (Android: Settings > Apps > MyExpense > Storage > Clear Data)
Deleting local data does NOT delete spreadsheets stored in your Google Drive
Revoking Google access:
You may revoke MyExpense's access to your Google account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Once revoked, the app will no longer be able to read or create files in your Google Drive
Previously created backup files will remain in your Drive until you manually delete them
After revoking access, sync and backup features will no longer function until you re-authorize the app
Data retention period:
Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it (no automatic deletion)
Google Drive data: Retained in your Drive until you delete it (no automatic deletion)
We do not retain any of your Google user data on our servers
Email addresses used for 2FA are retained in our authentication system until you delete your account
VI. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES
MyExpense may modify, update or amend the terms in this Privacy Notice at any time. Such amendments shall be notified to you through the Apps and/or other appropriate means at least five (5) business days before the effective date. The updated version will be posted on the website https://customer.anmlumo.com/myexpense/termandpolicies. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Notice regularly. Your continued use of the Apps, Websites or Services, or continuing to communicate or engage with MyExpense following the effective date of the modifications, updates or amendments to this Privacy Notice, whether or not reviewed by you, shall constitute your agreement to be bound by such amendments.
